There are several times you want to Hide Files and Folders in Android Phone to Keep Private Files Hidden, Safe And Secure when we give our Smartphone to our family or friends and as you know there are some private photos, videos, files such as gf/bf photos and videos. There are three methods for doing this very easily
METHOD 1: Create a new dedicated hidden folder
TO CREATE A HIDDEN FOLDER FOLLOW THE STEPS:
1. Open file manager in your smartphone
2. Look for the option to create a new folder
3. Add a dot ( . ) like a full stop before writing the name of folder
4. Type the name for your folder
5. Now transfer all the data in this folder you want in hide
METHOD 2: Hide an existing folder
The second method is to hide an existing folder which already has your private files.
TO MAKE AN EXISTING FOLDER HIDDEN FOLLOW THE STEPS:
1. Open file manager in your smartphone
2. Look for an option to rename the folder
3. Add a . (dot) before the name of folder
4. It will ask you to make this folder hidden
Click ok
METHOD 3: HIDE ANY FILE IN SMARTPHONE
The third method is to hide a file whether it is a video, audio, app, etc.TO MAKE A FILE HIDDEN FOLLOW THE STEPS:
1. Open file manager in your smartphone
2. Look for an option to rename the file
3. Add a . (dot) before the name of file
4. It will ask you to make this file hidden
Click ok
Note: Sometimes the folder and files does not hide automatically after renaming or adding dot in their names,
You have to reboot it for that sometimes.
