How Does One Become A Hacker?

INTRODUCTION

Hacking is a skill. And you have to remember that if you want to learn hacking for fun of hacking a Facebook account or email account, a hacking a friends smartphone to watch his stuff, opening a blocked and banned site, then this skill is not for you. You should learn hacking if you are crazy for technology and hacking skill and if you have a desire to be an expert in computer systems.
If you have no skill.......don't worry you are not alone in this world.We all had to start somewhere. And we all need help to be on where we want to be. No one is born with all the necessary skills.

SO LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED:

1. Who is a hacker?

In computer security, 
A hacker is someone who manages security mechanism and network systems, now a days Breaking into a system or computer is known as hacking.

2. What is hacking?

Hacking is to know the very small vulnerabilities of a system and by using that, breaking into a system.
ETHICAL HACKERS are differ from other HACKERS.
Hacker break security to access a system while Ethical hackers have official permission to access the security posture of a targeted system.
There are many types of hackers, But majors one are: 

• White hat - Ethical Hacker

• Black hat - Classical Hacker (Get Unauthorized Access)

• Grey hat - A person who gets unauthorized access but reveals the weakness to the company

• Script kiddie - A person with no technical skill just use pre-made tools

• Hacktivist - A person who hacks for some idea and leaves some messages.

The goal of an ethical hacking is to reveal the system weaknesses and vulnerabilities for a company to fix them. Ethical hacker documents everything he did.

3. Knowledge required to become an ethical hacker.

First of all to be a hacker you need to be willing to continuously learn new things quickly at your home. Secondly, you need to have a strong mental understanding of at least one coding/scripting language as well as an understanding of Network and Web Security.
So here are some steps if you want to start from now.....

• Learn To Code (Programming).

• Understand basic concepts of Operating System (Android System for smartphone hacking)

• Fundamentals of Networking and Security

• Markup and as many technologies as you can!

3. What Platform To Code In:-

That depends on what platform you’ll be working on. It can be computer, smartphone, mac, etc.

1. For web applications, I suggest you learn HTML, PHP, JSP, and ASP.

1. For mobile applications, just try Java (for Android), Swift (for iOS apple system), C# (for Windows Phone).

1. For desktop-based software try Java, C#, C++.

I would like to recommend Python as well because its a general purpose language and getting more popular nowadays due to its portability.

But what really is necessary for every programming language is to learn the basic fundamentals of programming, concepts like the data types, the variable manipulation throughout the program at the OS level to the use of functions and so on.


If you learn these, it’s pretty much the same for every programming language except for some syntax changes. which are easy to memorise.
